How to use it
  1. 1. Prepare your template

    Open your invoice in Word or OpenOffice and mark every spot that should change with double curly braces, e.g. {{Customer}}, {{InvoiceNumber}}, {{Date}}, {{Amount}}. Keep your logo, layout and styling exactly as they are.

  2. 2. Get a template

    Click "Use our free invoice template" to start right away, or drag your own .docx or .odt file into Step 1 above - the tool scans it and finds every placeholder automatically, no manual setup needed.

  3. 3. Fill in the values

    Step 2 shows one input field for every placeholder found in your template. Type in the values for this invoice.

  4. 4. Download

    Step 3 lets you download the finished invoice as a PDF or in the original .docx/.odt format, with every placeholder replaced by the value you entered.

Example

Say your template contains this line:

Invoice for {{Customer}} — No. {{InvoiceNumber}} — Amount: {{Amount}} — Date: {{Date}}

You fill in:

  • {{Customer}} → Acme Corp
  • {{InvoiceNumber}} → 2026-014
  • {{Amount}} → 450.00 €
  • {{Date}} → 18/09/2026

And the downloaded invoice reads:

Invoice for Acme Corp — No. 2026-014 — Amount: 450.00 € — Date: 18/09/2026
